The Old Mutual Trophy Wine Show is South Africa’s premier wine competition that recognises the top local wines and winemakers, and honours excellence in the wine industry. There are various media and public events, all covered by social media.
My role was to maintain the website as well as create the social imagery and content for the build up and duration of the event which spans over a month. I also attended the events and provided live-tweeting and photography.
The top performing tweet of the year was generated by The Trophy Wine Show which had a 9,5% engagement rate. It was one of my live tweets with a photo of the winners.
